Quality Manager

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with the General Manager and the Plant Manager to set quality benchmarks;
2. Be aware of the industry standards;
3. Create standards in accordance with industry standards and customer expectations;
4. Identify and optimize quality control processes to ensure criteria are met at all times;
5. Execute tests to check final product adherence to the company standards;
6. Record findings and relay this information to the production team;
7. Brainstorm ideas to increase productivity with the Plant Manager and performance of the production line while maintaining and improving accuracy in quality;
8. Make crucial decisions in favor of cost-efficiency without compromising on quality;
9. Oversee production to ensure conformity in final product processing;
10. Manage the Quality Team (8 to 14 people);
11. Interact on a daily basis with the Plant Manager;
12. Report on a weekly basis to the General Manager (direct report);

Requirements

• A university degree in Engineering or relevant experience in production company;
• Computer literacy – MS Office, Excel & Power Point are a must;
• Familiar with company and industry quality standards and processes;
• Proficient in electronics/microelectronics;
  Good practice with SAP or other applications;
• In-depth knowledge of market trends, best practices and conditions;
• Excellent reactivity, strong leadership and management skills;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities;
  Fluent in English spoken and written (French is a plus);
• Able to travel (in Europe mainly) ;
